Simon Roberts Watercolor Workshops in France

Multiple Sessions: June & September 2018 and 2019 (see below)

about this trip:

Improve your watercolor technique this summer in this all-inclusive painting holiday!  Stay in a typical wine making village in the South of France and paint the wonderfully picturesque villages and landscapes of this magical region, known for its mystical history (the Knights Templar and the mystical Cathars!), excellent wines and fresh food! Painting sessions are a mix of in studio and outdoors around the region. You'll paint port towns, ancient villages, vineyards, bustling markets and the Canal du Midi. All supplies are included and all skill levels are welcome. Plenty to do for non-painting partners!

Instructed painting sessions in the mornings at picturesque villages, rolling vineyards, the ports and shores of Mediterranean lagoons, a bustling market and an old Olive domain. Visit Bouzigues, a pretty village on the shores of the Etang de Thau, the Canal du Midi, Narbonne, the historic city of Pezenas and much more during your instructed painting sessions. Group lunches are usually held in the many restaurants and cafes along the way. The group will relocate to the painting site in the afternoon or work in studio. Group dinners at various restaurants in the area.

You have several choices for accommodations. Stay in an upmarket guest house or B&B, both with pools. Weekly pricing for either of these accommodations starts at $2250.

For an additional charge, you can stay in a luxury chateau! Pricing starts at $2670.

Private rooms and non-painting partner rates available. See the options on the Booking form.
